The Message Board is Up!!

“Think of it as a Facebook Page made of fencing and lumber!” After a long year of unrest and covid concerns we are enjoying the summer of 2021 with positive thoughts and high hopes.

The Faribault Foundation has erected a Message Board in Central Park on the 2nd Avenue side. Everyone is welcome to come by and post!

All messages will be compiled for a public report after the project. Follow us on Facebook to see photos and to post additional messages!

On Thursday June 17, a kickoff event starts at 6:30 pm in Central Park right before the Concert in the Park. Please join us and get this positive project off to a great start.

The Faribault Foundation is incredibly grateful to Dave Albers for his design and construction of the Message Board. The following local businesses also have supported this effort: Chadderdon Lumber, Sherwin Williams, Insty-Prints, Caron Fence, Faribault Park and Recreation. The Foundation also is supported in this project by Thrivent, through an Action Team grant.
