Men on a Mission
The Men on a Mission event hosted by the Faribault Foundation met its goal of raising $10,000.00 and granting half to a deserving organization while dedicating half to support the ongoing work of the Foundation.
The Game Day theme brought guys out wearing their favorite team jerseys and cheering on teams on the big screen. The important work was done before the game even started. The men who attended nominated their favorite local nonprofit organization then drew out three finalists. The three finalists were Clean River Partners, Faribault Youth Empowerment Center and Health Finders. After some explanation about the three finalists, the men voted and the top vote getter was HealthFinders. A $5000.00 grant will be awarded to HealthFinders.
The Viking game was playing throughout the event - but true to the promoting - the men were home by halftime.
Here is Laura Bock, Faribault Foundation Executive Director awarding the $5000.00 grant to Charlie Mandile of HealthFinders Collaborative.
