Kangas Family

Ken and Patty Kangas have joined the growing number of local people in the Founders Society of the Faribault Foundation. The Founders Society is made up of people who believe in the mission of the Foundation and have contributed to the Hand Up Campaign. The Hand Up Campaign provides stability for the Foundation and builds a lasting endowment to fund the greatest needs in Faribault in the future.

When asked why they chose to contribute to the Foundation in this way, Patty replied:

"I want to live in a community where people care for you and about you. I want a community where when asked “why did you do that?” I could say “because it’s the right thing to do” and they would understand."
